Nashville's most tastefully timely 'drink 'n think' experience!
College-level history lecture meets multiple choice trivia game meets superb craft beer meets historically-inspired, artisanal cuisine meets community-cultivating, forward-feeding play.
New Heights' World Historic Non-trivia Nights isn't your typical pub quiz. It's a carefully crafted experience where college-level history presentations meet artisanal cuisine, local craft beer, and genuine community impact.
Every event at New Heights Brewery benefits Fort Negley, Nashville's historic Civil War site, through a partnership with Friends of Fort Negley. 10% of all ticket sales go directly to the park.
Our purpose: To stimulate the public mind, satisfy the public tummy, and support the public parks.
Teams of 2-6 compete through an engaging 75-minute presentation with embedded trivia questions. No phones or computers allowed—just good old-fashioned knowledge, teamwork, and a dash of luck in the final "Cornucopia Whole" game.

The 3rd Tuesday of each month at New Heights Brewery. Each event explores a different era of history with cuisine inspired by that time and place.
Honoring the park that all Non-trivia Nights benefit, this inaugural event explores Nashville and American history around Fort Negley's construction—featuring mid-19th century deviled eggs with pickled mustard seeds, inspired by the era before mayonnaise became the norm.
Honoring the United States as overwhelmingly a nation of immigrants, we explore the various waves of immigration since the Constitution's ratification. Small bites inspired by the ethnic cuisines of each wave.
Honoring the local terroir, we journey through 13,000 years of human dining in Middle Tennessee: late Pleistocene, Archaic, Mississippian, Columbian Exchange, "Meat and Three," and Contemporary Fusion.
Celebrating the 250th anniversary of our nation's independence, we journey through the years leading up to the Declaration of Independence. Small bites inspired by colonial American cuisine.
From arrival to prizes, here's what your evening looks like.
Receive your two beer tickets at the door. Sample beers at the bar to find your favorite, then choose your team's table (first come, first serve). Small bites arrive at your table shortly after.
Professor William Harwood leads a fascinating 75-minute presentation. Multiple-choice questions are embedded throughout—your team answers using ASL hand signs (A, B, C, or D). Scores are tracked in real-time on our whiteboard. No phones or computers allowed!
After the presentation, enjoy the main course prepared by our food truck chefs in compostable packaging—eat at your table or take it home. Watch the "Chef Cam" during the event to see your meal being prepared!
While enjoying your meal, watch each team toss bean bags at the cornhole board. The number of bags your team gets equals your correct answers plus one "participation" bag. Score: 5 points for the cornucopia hole, 3 for staying on board, 2 for touching, 1 for floor. Highest total wins!
Everyone leaves with a GAAPPPP Prize Packet—swag, coupons, leftover bites, and New Heights beer coupons. The winning team gets the Grand Packet with the best goodies. Stick around for more beers and great conversation!
Teams of 2-6 players. Limited to 50 participants per event.
Everything included. No hidden costs.
